While most of the online world spent the past few days debating the colors of a dress, another gown has become the start of a strange story. On Feb.26th the actress and fashionista Lupita Nyong reported that the custom made Calvin Klein gown she had worn to the Academy Awards. The cascade of 6,000 pearls affixed to silk lame. All pearls-stolen for a minute from her hotel room. A police statement said that the manufacturer valued the dress at $150,000. The next day a celebrity called the website TMZ and confessed to being the thief and said where the gown could be found. I guess Lupita Nyong didn't lose anything afterall.
